Moving prices and minimums
The hourly rate is for the whole crew shown, not each mover. Minimum charges apply even when a job finishes sooner. Billing begins when the crew arrives.
Movers with a truck

For example, two movers with our truck have a $480 minimum covering the first three hours. Additional time is billed at $160 per hour. Two movers for labor only have a $280 minimum covering the first two hours, with additional time at $140 per hour.
Equipment and protection
Appropriate hand trucks, dollies, moving blankets, plastic wrap and straps are part of the handling plan. Equipment use during the move is different from buying packing materials to keep.
Packing work is billed at the applicable hourly rate. Boxes and additional packing supplies may cost extra. You can provide your own materials; ask us to confirm any supply charges before the job.
What changes the estimate?
Stairs, elevators, long carries, packing, assembly and difficult access affect the work time. Stairs are not an automatic separate surcharge. Local moves do not carry an automatic mileage or fuel fee; unusual travel needs review.
Heavy or unusual items, including pieces around 250 pounds or more, need advance review. Qualifying long distance moves are quoted separately after the route, inventory and access are confirmed.
Get a quote for the actual move
Call or text the date, both addresses, a short item list and any stairs or difficult access. No lengthy checklist is required. Senior and veteran discounts are 5% and cannot be combined. A booking deposit, when required, is credited toward the move; confirm the payment schedule shown when booking.
