Each route is reviewed individually. Sending a request does not confirm service for a destination or a particular delivery schedule, so wait for the route and arrangements to be agreed before relying on them.
Describe the load before a price is finalized
List the major furniture, approximate box count and belongings in additional spaces such as a garage or basement. Include large dimensions, disassembly needs and anything requiring unusual or delicate handling.
Tell us which belongings will be packed before pickup and where you want packing help. If the inventory changes, update it before the arrangements are finalized so the quote reflects the load that will actually move.

Resolve access at the destination as well as pickup
Share floors, stairs, elevator reservations and the distance from loading to the entrance at both addresses. Confirm who can provide access and whether a building has a limited move window.
If there is a gap between leaving one home and entering the next, identify it in the initial request. IronAtlas does not offer storage, so a gap in access needs an agreed plan rather than an assumption that belongings can be held.
Use the long distance quote process
Long distance moves start at $1,500 and use a different pricing structure from local moves. The starting figure is not a guaranteed price for your route or inventory.
The owner reviews the full move details before a final long distance price is confirmed. Standard local hourly rates should not be used to calculate a long distance total. The confirmed quote needs to reflect the agreed route, scope and arrangements.

Can I request a quote for any destination?
You can send the destination for review, but a request does not confirm that IronAtlas can provide that route. Include full addresses, dates, inventory and access. Service and the final arrangements must be confirmed for the particular move.
Is $1,500 the final price for my long distance move?
No. Long distance moves start at $1,500. The final price requires the complete route and scope to be reviewed and approved by the owner. Inventory, packing, specialty items and access details need to be disclosed before that price is confirmed.
Can I calculate a long distance quote using the local hourly rate?
Long distance moves use a different pricing structure. Do not multiply the standard local rate by an estimated driving time to determine a total. Send the route and move details for a specific quote.
Can pickup and delivery happen on the same day?
That depends on the reviewed route, scope and arrangements. Share any fixed deadline and the access windows at both addresses. This page does not promise a transit time or same day delivery for an unreviewed route.
What if my inventory changes after I request a long distance quote?
Send the additions or removals promptly, with details of any larger or unusual items. A changed load can affect the moving arrangements and price. The final quote should be reviewed against the current inventory before you rely on it.
Can packing be included in the long distance request?
Yes. Identify the rooms or items needing packing and any materials you already have. Packing is additional billable work with applicable material charges, and the requested scope should be part of the owner's quote review.
