Plan the crew and transportation together
This option is for a move that needs both a moving crew and a truck. The agreed scope can include loading at pickup, transportation and unloading at the destination, with packing or other help discussed separately.
Two movers with a truck cost $160 per hour with a three hour minimum, a $480 minimum service charge. Three and four mover options are also available. The service minimum applies even if the move finishes sooner.
Give the truck plan a complete inventory
List the main furniture, approximate box count and items in garages, basements or additional rooms. Mention unusually long, tall or heavy pieces and any furniture that must be taken apart before loading.
The complete inventory helps determine the vehicle and loading plan. Share additions before the move so the arrangements can be reviewed; a bedroom count by itself may leave out a large part of the load.
- Include furniture dimensions when size may affect loading or access.
- State which pieces require disassembly and assembly.
- Identify anything not yet boxed or ready to move.
Connect the parking position to the furniture route
At both addresses, identify where the truck can load and how the crew will reach the belongings. Share driveway turns, overhead clearance, stairs, elevator reservations and long carrying distances.
The crew uses equipment and protection appropriate to the work, including items such as furniture blankets, wrap, straps and dollies. Packing, unpacking and applicable materials are additional, so ask for those needs to be included in the estimate.
Keep timing and scope visible
Tell us about building move windows, pickup deadlines and the time the destination will be accessible. IronAtlas uses a one hour arrival window, so a tightly scheduled loading dock or elevator needs to be considered when arranging the move.
Estimated hours depend on the actual inventory and access. Long distance routes use a separate quote process, and unusually far travel requires review before any additional travel charge is confirmed.

It provides the truck and moving crew for the agreed loading, transportation and unloading scope. The estimate should identify any packing, disassembly or other requested work. Packing materials are additional, and the actual time can change with the job conditions.
Can I choose a particular truck size?
IronAtlas does not promise a particular truck size through this page. Send the complete inventory and any access limits so the truck arrangements can be reviewed for the move. Include large furniture dimensions and belongings outside the main living rooms.

What if my inventory may require more than one trip?
Tell us the full inventory before the truck arrangements are finalized. The vehicle plan and possible trips need to be considered with both addresses and their access. Additional trips can affect the work and estimated time; they should not be assumed from a general home size label.
Can the moving truck enter my driveway?
That depends on the particular approach and loading space. Share photos, dimensions where known, slope, overhead clearance and turnaround details. The driveway should be reviewed before it becomes the agreed loading position.
What if I already rented a vehicle?
Labor only may be the service you need. It provides help with loading and unloading while you arrange transportation. Let us know what is already booked, when the vehicle will be available and whether you need help at one address or both.
